PP Non-Woven Fabric

FTIR spectra of treated and untreated PP non-woven fabrics are presented in Table 2. The untreated non-woven fabric exhibited several bands that are characteristic of the PP structure. These bands are attributed to the presence of methyl groups and stretching vibrations within the PP chains.

In addition, FTIR and SEM analysis revealed that MCC particles adhered to a silane layer on the PP fabric. The fabric treated with MCC had an improved wicking height and reduced air permeability.
